    Nestled between listed buildings in the heart of London with views over St Paul’s, this 108,000 sq ft cutting-edge office building was designed for maximum sustainability.

    In designing the building, PLP Architecture was mindful that their spatial and material approach should also be directly informed by these prestigious adjacencies.

    Having achieved the BREEAM Excellent standard for the initial build, the completed project is targeting WELL Gold Certification – becoming one of the few projects in the UK to achieve this accreditation.

    With sustainability and heritage at the forefront of the design, we worked with Aedas Architects, to specify INTRAform Double Module Entrance Matting with a bronze anodised finish and anthracite fibre insert for the 10,000 sq ft grand entrance.

    This system is a highly sustainable solution, perfectly suited to BREEAM projects; INTRAform DM Entrance Matting profiles are made from 100% recycled and recyclable aluminium, and INTRAlux Elite fibre is made from 100% Econyl which is produced from regenerated nylon from discarded materials and products such as old fishing nets.

    Double width fibre inserts provide maximum moisture absorption for the inclement British weather, ensuring the smooth stone flooring in reception remains clean and safe to prolong the life of interior finishes and minimise cleaning.

    The resulting specification perfectly reflects the design ethos and works harmoniously with the interior finishes.
