The Hard Rock

The Hard Rock brand attracts tourists from around the world to its global network of restaurants and hotels.

Founded in London in 1971, Hard Rock returned to London in April 2019, with the opening of its first-ever UK hotel.

Scott Brownrigg was ‘appointed to consider the primary entrance and ground floor guest experience’, selecting INTRAsystems entrance matting for the three ground floor entrances.

All That Glitters

Hard Rock Hotels combine the essence of the destination with their music memorabilia museum and hospitality to provide an experience that is unique to each location.

With the 4-star business and leisure traveller in mind, Hard Rock Hotel, London is a sophisticated offering featuring more than 100 items of music memorabilia with ties to the UK.

Scott Brownrigg’s award-winning design for the space blends art deco with futurism for a unique aesthetic.

The ground floor features a plethora of glittering brass detailing. Undulating golden bar supports and doors, brass kickplates, light fittings and ceiling fins sit alongside gilt-framed memorabilia and rich coloured fabrics for an opulent, modern finish. This design language is also translated into the entrance matting.

In keeping with the art deco opulence, the INTRAform entrance matting system is bronze anodised with deep, rich black fibre inserts.

Alongside the pale walls and flooring, the combination of bronze and black provides a classic and sophisticated finish.

To meet WELL standards and keep the pale stone flooring in pristine condition, each of the three entrance mats also exceed 3 metres to ensure adequate walk-off in the inclement British weather.

With a superior pile weight and more than 92,000 tufts per square metre, the INTRAlux Elite inserts can hold up to 5.4 litres of moisture per square metre.

It is also made from 100% Econyl regenerated nylon, making it an environmentally conscious choice.
