Aluminium Entrance Matting is a premium product and it makes the entrance of any building look and feel great, but only when it is installed correctly. A properly fitted aluminium entrance mat will be accurately cut on all sides to the shape of the matwell, it will be fitted so there is rib alignment across the whole matwell area, it will lie flat in the matwell andensure a safe access for everyone, including disabled users and it will be the correct size to ensure optimum performance in removing dirt and moisture.
However, many entrance mats are over complicated in their construction and it makes a good installation difficult to achieve. INTRAmatting however has consistently abided by it’s mantra of “specify with confidence, install with ease” that has meant all the Matting products in their portfolio have been specifically designed to be easy to install. There are no high tensile steel wires to cut through as is the case with some mats which often means the mats fall apart when cut. There are no complex fixing points or lugs on the underside of the mat that mustn’t be cut through and there are no loose spacer sections that fail to hold the matting in line across the matwell. Instead INTRAmatting products have a simple interlocking design that means they fit together with ease and stay in line across the whole matwell area. They are easily cut and shaped by any competent tradesman and they work equally well in revolving doors and shaped around pillars as they do in simple rectangular matwells.
Committed to ensure installation is easy for everyone, INTRAmatting offer a full training programme for companies and also have a detailed video taking you through the simple steps necessary to fit aluminium entrance matting properly. Some key points are shown below:
