A properly fitted aluminium entrance mat will be accurately cut on all sides to the shape of the matwell, it will be fitted so there is rib alignment across the whole matwell area, it will lie flat in the matwell andensure a safe access for everyone, including disabled users and it will be the correct size to ensure optimum performance in removing dirt and moisture.

However, many entrance mats are over complicated in their construction and it makes a good installation difficult to achieve. They are easily cut and shaped by any competent tradesman and they work equally well in revolving doors and shaped around pillars as they do in simple rectangular matwells.

So How is Entrance Matting Installed?

	First a site survey is carried out to obtain accurate dimensions of the entrance
	Next all the manufacturing and production drawings are signed off to be ready for delivery.
	Then the installation of matwell is completed making sure the framing to perimeter of the matwell is secure.
	Next the matwell base is prepared using a levelling compound, this creates a smooth finish to suit the matting.
	Then the matwell is set out making sure the measurements of the panels are spot on and that the material required is accurate.
	Finally, the matting is installed.
