INTRA put their best foot forward!

This month has been an exciting one for INTRAsystems as we proudly attended two significant industry events: the CFJ Awards and Retrofit Live, hosted by Architects Journal.

CFJ Awards 2024

Our first-time attendance at the CFJ Awards was a memorable experience. The sun was shining at the prestigious Dallas Burston Polo Club in Warwickshire and the event proved to be a fantastic opportunity to network with professionals from across the contract flooring industry. We were thrilled to stand on stage alongside Westcotes Flooring Company for their pitch-perfect flooring package installation at Shinfield TV Studios in the New Offices category. And delighted too that they secured the award for Residential newbuilds with another project that also features INTRAsystems Entrance Matting: Battersea Power Station.

The energy and buzz throughout the day was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the chance to connect with industry leaders and innovators. We’re already looking forward to next year! Perhaps with a dedicated Entrance Matting category?!

Retrofit Live

Following swiftly on the CFJ Awards was Retrofit Live, hosted by Architects Journal, and this was another highlight of the month. The event integrated the retrofit and reuse awards and attracted architects, built environment professionals and lawmakers together from across the UK to discuss best practices in retrofit and the circular economy.

We were excited to showcase INTRAsystems’ new and upcoming sustainable solutions that enhance functionality and aesthetics without compromise. This event continues to grow in importance and significance and the team were busy all through the day talking to delegates. The interest in our sustainable product options and processes was really heartening.

Engaging with architects and other built environment professionals at Retrofit Live continues to reinforce our commitment to supporting the architect community with high-quality, environmentally responsible Entrance Matting solutions that meet all their needs.

At INTRAsystems, we are dedicated to fostering strong relationships with both architects and flooring industry professionals.

Winning project at the RIBA Regional Awards

We are delighted to share that INTRA Entrance Matting was used in the award-winning Shakespeare North Playhouse project, which recently received the prestigious 2024 RIBA North West Building of the Year Award.

Designed by Helm Architecture with executive architects Austin-Smith: Lord, this remarkable theatre in Prescot, Merseyside, is celebrated for its innovative design and significant contribution to the community. Our Entrance Matting in this project, known for its exceptional durability, superior dirt-trapping capabilities, and elegant design, plays a crucial role in welcoming visitors to this iconic venue. It ensures a safe transition as they step into a beautiful space dedicated to the arts and education.

Our involvement in and contribution towards these events underscore INTRA’s commitment to providing high-quality entrance matting solutions that not only meet, but exceed industry standards.

We look forward to continuing our engagement with the community and supporting future events that drive innovation and excellence across the flooring industry.
