Corporate Social responsibility is something we have always taken very seriously. In the past we have helped the likes of Get Kids Going where our very own Peter Farrant ran the London Marathon and we have also supported Parkinson’s UK by raising money through corporate sponsorship. Charity therefore is in our DNA. This year we are helping Naomi House & Jacksplace with the amazing work they are currently doing.
What Are We Doing?
In conjunction with our sister company Axis House, we are embarking on a marathon day. The marathon is taking place in the form of 2 activities – Cycling and Piano playing. Both of these activities will be carried out continuously for 12 hours at our premises by company team members and help from other willing volunteers. you can tune into our Facebook Live Videos to see we get along.
Why Are we Doing it?
Naomi House and Jacksplace hospice provide expert hospice care to more than 440 life-threatened and life-limited children, young people and their extended families from Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Berkshire, West Sussex, Surrey and the Isle of Wight. This standard of care costs money; £8.5 million per year to be precise. With only 9% of income coming from Government and statutory sources, Naomi House & Jacksplace are reliant on the support of people like you. We are doing this marathon to help support this charity in helping these children and young people.
How Can You Help?
We are asking you all to help support the team by making a donation to our fundraising activity. The link below will take you to the donations page and will tell you a little more about the event. Many thanks in anticipation of your support for this charity – every gift is greatly appreciated.
